Plants play a vital role in producing ecstatically eye-pleasing features for our homes. It creates warm and inviting properties making our homes more like a sanctuary.
Knowing the local environment and the plants that do best here in South Florida are very important for the longevity of your landscape. Planting the right plant in the right place makes a difference so that you are not replacing your plants every year. We can always add annuals to give more color and change it up a bit if you have good foundational plants.
If you like butterflies and birds around, we can also recommend plants that will attract them so that you can enjoy that wonderful world as well.

As a professional, Annie understands the knowledge of the Florida environment and plants necessary to provide excellence to each client’s needs. She has studied and become a Florida certified Horticulture Professional through the FNGLA and also works closely with the local extension office for continuing education on our ever-changing environment.
Annie spent over 20+ years in Advertising before she started her own landscape design company. She was very successful because she has always enjoyed helping and meeting the needs of her clients. Not being content in advertisement, and being a woman of faith, she went to Him. “Tending to His Garden” a landscaping business was birthed as she recognized the rising issues of our environment and housing growth in our area. It became apparent that this is where she could make a difference with her love for horticulture.
Many people move or have second homes here from other states where the environment is completely different. Spending the time learning and educating herself on the environment, Florida-friendly and native plants as well as its wildlife has helped Annie to make professional recommendations on Landscaping Designs with her client’s desires in mind.
